This year is fast coming to an end, so it’s important to look back at this year’s accomplishments, as well as its missed opportunities, then make adjustments to close out the year with as much progress as possible in WBM’s goal of sharing our Lord and Savior with the multitudes.  It’s always good to look back at the past, which we can’t change, but more importantly that we look forward to the future as we leave past mistakes behind and make improvements for the future.

In February the first SALC Housing unit was built using local laborers and construction volunteer workers from Pella, IA,  Now it is ready for the roof to be installed.  The plans are for that to happen in November, when I will be in Honduras.  I am definitely looking forward to the upcoming trip and all of the exciting things that will undoubtedly happen during that trip.

There have already been two WBM Grace Seminary weeks of classes in Oropoli and Guaimaca this year.  The number of students continues to grow with each class session.  Students study all day for five consecutive days to complete the course of study on a book of the Bible or one subject designed to help pastors with preaching the Gospel and serving their congregations,.  Upon completion of class requirements students are awarded a Certificate of Completion for that course,   Class credits are used to earn an undergraduate degree.

Gene Mojica, a new WBM Journeyman Missionary, will be joining me on the November trip to meet our staff, pastors, and Ministry friends in Honduras.  Gene feels that God is calling him to share Christ with the World as a missionary with WBM.  Gene is Mexican/American and speaks both Spanish and English fluently.  Gene and his wife, Amanda, have two children and live in Williamson, GA.  We anticipate that Gene will be leading teams to Honduras, working with our staff and pastors in Honduras, growing the WBM Ministry to more areas of Honduras as well as to other countries, and sharing Christ with everyone he meets.  Gene is currently raising support for his upcoming trip to Honduras as well as for his family’s personal support.  We are all very excited to welcome Gene and Amanda to the WBM family and look forward to serving with him.  We encourage you to prayerfully consider sponsoring Gene and Amanda with a monthly gift.

For those already supporting WBM with your prayers, participation, and financial support, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your faithfulness.  If you are considering support for WBM, we ask that you allow a portion of your gift to be used for “General” expenses.  WBM supports many small Ministry outreach services, which are supported by undesignated gifts,  There is always a need for funds to support and expand those Ministry services.

Please visit the WBM Website often.  The WBM website is a good way to keep up with current events and projects you may be sponsoring or are praying about sponsoring.

May God bless and keep you siempre!!!
